Not too far from the city but feels like real nature. I liked that we started near a lake and ended with a crazy good view. Trail was clean and not too crowded. Would do it again for sure.

Just the right amount of hiking

I’m not super sporty but this hike was perfect. A little challenge in parts, but mostly relaxed. Good guide, fun group, and that lefse snack was something new for me. Totally worth the time.

I never hike back home, but this was a great intro. Not too hard, and the pace was nice. Felt proud reaching the top and seeing the whole city below. Loved the Norwegian snack too!
How to Get There
The hike begins at Sognsvann Metro Station, which is located at the end of Metro Line 5.
From the city center (Oslo S/Jernbanetorget or Nationaltheatret), take Metro Line 5 towards Sognsvann. The ride takes about 17 minutes. Your guide will meet you at the metro platform.
